More than 350 elephants die from mysterious causes in Botswana


More than 350 elephants have died in mysterious circumstances in Botswana in the past three  months, according to local conservationists.The reason in unknown.If these will continue very soon it may be a great lose of elephant's life. Some carcasses were found clustered around waterholes, while others appeared to have died '' falling flat on their faces'' according to Naill McCann, director of conservation at United Kingdom charity National Park Rescue.In  a report prepared for the government , conservation organisation Elephants Without Borders(EWB) said its aerial surveys showed that elephants of all ages appeared to be dying, according to Reuters.

It has described by an observers, that live elephants appeared physically weak, and one was walking in circle, unable change direction.Other species in the area did not appear to have been affected by whatever struck down the elephants.



Botswana is investigating '' completely unprecedented'' death of hundreds of elephants since May.They Govt. said three laboratories in Canada, South Africa and Zimbabwe would be asked to ''process the samples taken from the dead elephants.''
